Two weeks later, June 16, at the State Fairgrounds in Richmond, the Andersons teamed with Johnny Weaver to meet Rip Hawk and Swede Hanson along with their manager Gary Hart in a six man tag match.

Fans in Richmond likely warned Johnny Weaver not to trust the Andersons, much as fans in Georgia warned Dusty Rhodes years later in the famous angle in the cage in the Omni. But he did, and paid for it. Art Nelson made the save, setting up a big match between Weaver and Nelson vs. The Andersons the following week in Richmond.
